What are the bonus squares in Crossplay?

There are four bonus squares in Crossplay, similar to other games like Scrabble and Words With Friends. On the game board, there are spaces with either 2L, 3L, 2W, or 3W.

Squares with 2L will double the point value of the letter placed on it. 3L spaces will triple the letter score placed on them. Spaces with 2W will double the score of the entire word. And for the biggest bonus in the game, the 3W square will triple the points of the entire word if placed on it.

One thing to keep in mind, however, is that the bonus square only applies to the first word placed on it. So, if you connect a new word to a previous word that sits on a bonus square, you do not get the value of that bonus. You only get the points associated with the base value of the letter tile.
